PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up a USB data communication without any needs of performing a system redesign, mounting a high speed CPU or the like causing the increase of cost. SOLUTION: In this method for performing the USB non-standard communication by using a packet whose size is larger than USB standard MaxPacket Size between USB apparatus for normally performing USB data communication by using USB standard based packet size, the change of software or the minimum change of hardware is performed so that when a USB host 400 is connected to a USB device 407, or when enumeration is processed, whether or not they are apparatuses corresponding to the communication method can be decided.
