PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wet and spread of a liquid crystal over a liquid crystal display element when the liquid crystal is injected. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display element wherein peripheral parts of two substrates are stuck to each other by using a sealing material and the liquid crystal is injected from an injection port formed in a part of the sealing material has at least a step for fixing the injection port of the liquid crystal display element in a lower side and a liquid crystal injecting step for bringing the liquid crystal into contact with the injection port. The liquid crystal display element is fixed by a means for preventing the liquid crystal from being spread over the part except the part in the vicinity of the injection port in the liquid crystal injecting step and the liquid crystal is brought into contact with only the part of the injection port.
