PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter for a vehicle free from damage to components, and capable of enhancing flexibility of design, in structure for positioning a display panel and a facing panel. SOLUTION: This meter for the vehicle (combination meter) 1 is provided with a case body (lower case) 2 with an opening 2a made in the front face side, the display panel 6 having hole parts (the first and second hole parts) arranged in the case body 2, and the facing panel 7 having a window part 7a arranged in the case body 2 that is to be positioned in the front side of the display panel 6 and for exposing one part of the display panel 6, and having projected parts (the first and second projected parts) formed in the rear face. The meter is provided with protruded positioning parts (the first and second positioning parts), provided in the case body 2 and inserted through the hole parts of the display panel 6, and positioning recessed parts (the first and second positioning recessed parts) formed in the positioning parts and inserted with the projected parts of the facing panel 7.
