PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polypeptide homologous to A33 antigen and HCAR membrane-binding protein. SOLUTION: The new polypeptide has a specific amino acid sequence named as PRO362, or has an amino acid sequence where one or several amino acids are deleted, substituted or added in the above amino acid sequence, having anti-tumor proliferation activity. This polypeptide is usable as a drug for treating tumors, being also usable as a means for detecting the presence of a tumor in a biological specimen.
