PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage case of a cutting tool, without injuring fingers, when installing a tool, by determining the existence of damage of a tip part at a glance, without causing damage in the tip part of the cutting tool and its vicinity. SOLUTION: This storage case of the cutting tool has a cap 1 fitted around a shank part 90 for surrounding up to a part of a shank part 92 from the tip part 90 provided with a cutting edge and seeing through at least the tip part 90, a soft resin case main body 2 held in a mode of surrounding the cap 1 and forming an inspection hole M in a part corresponding to the tip part 90 in a holding state, and a cover case 3 insertably-extractably out-fitted to the case main body 2 in a state of holding the cap 1 for surrounding the whole of the tip part 90 and the shank part 92 and seeing through a part opposed to at least the inspection hole M in an out-fitting state.
