PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool for securing a long service life, by avoiding even inconvenience of a control circuit board by water, by draining the water intruding in a circuit storage part for internally installing the control circuit board, needless to say to avoid inconvenience by impact, vibration and dust of the control circuit board. SOLUTION: A motor 3 and a driving part 4 rotatingly driven by the motor 3, are stored inside a cylindrical body part 2. A grip part 5 is projected in the direction orthogonal to its cylindrical shaft from the body part 2. This power tool 1 is formed by arranging a battery pack installing part 7 for detachably installing a battery pack 6 on the extension in the projecting direction of the grip part 5 in a tip part in the projecting direction of the grip part 5. The circuit storage part 9 for internally installing the control circuit board 8 for controlling the motor 3, is arranged in the vicinity of the tip part in the projecting direction of the grip part 5. A drain hole 11 for communicating the circuit storage part 9 with the battery pack installing part 7, is arranged on a partition wall 10 arranged in the grip part 5 for separating the circuit storage part 9 from the battery pack installing part 7.
