<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil seal structure for a reducer, wherein a sun gear can be inserted through a through-hole of a bracket together with a rotating shaft even when the outer diameter of the sun gear is larger than the outer diameter of the rotating shaft and oil can be filled in a reducer case with a gap closed between the through-hole and the rotating shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The oil seal structure comprises a case storing a gear mechanism, a flange 11 connecting a motor case to the case and having the through-hole 11c in which the rotating shaft is stored with its front end inserted through the case side, and a seal member 12 which is mounted on the peripheral wall of the through-hole 11c and whose inner diameter portion abuts on the rotating shaft 2 for filling the lubricating oil into the case. The seal member 12 is formed of an elastic body which abuts on the sun gear 3 and whose inner diameter is displaced to be wider when the sun gear 3 is inserted through the through-hole 11c together with the rotating shaft 2, and which is restored into an original shape after the sun gear 3 is inserted therethrough. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
