<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron emission element having a stable electron emitting property, on which an electron emission part is formed at a stable position, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same, an image display device, and an electronic device that uses the same. <P>SOLUTION: The electron emission element 10 is composed of element electrodes 2, 3 formed on am element substrate 1 so as to face each other with a prescribed distance L<SB>1</SB>, a conductive thin film 4 crossing over the element electrodes 2, 3, having narrow parts, of which circular arc-shaped peripheral parts are formed so as to face nearing each other, and an electron emission part 5 formed on a narrow area of the conductive thin film 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
