<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic toll collection system to reduce the costs of device installation work. <P>SOLUTION: The ETC system for automatically executing the process of collecting highway tolls uses a vehicle detector for obtaining a variety of vehicle information and capable of detecting each vehicle's position, travel direction, travel speed and the like by means of cameras that can be installed three-dimensionally relative to lanes.
