<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a memory card which can prevent instantaneous power interruption. <P>SOLUTION: The connector 1 for the memory card is connected to the memory card MC electrically by a contactor 3 by inserting the memory card MC which exposes a contact part MC2 to a front surface MC1 and juxtaposing a plurality of contactors 3 each having a biasing force to the position opposed to the contact part MC2. A card pressing part 26 which regulates the position of a reverse side to the contact part MC2 of the memory card MC is provided in the counter position of the juxtaposed contactor 3 through the memory card MC. In the card pressing part 26, a pressing spring 27 which energizes the memory card MC to the contactor 3 side is provided, the contact pressure of the contact part MC2 and the contactor 3 is obtained by the contactor 3 and the pressing spring part 27.
