<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder requiring less operating force when a paper feed tray is mounted on and dismounted from a device body and preventing the paper feed tray from being extracted out of the device body even if an impact is applied to the device body and the paper feed tray. <P>SOLUTION: This paper feed tray 1 comprises a lever 4 integrally fitted to the paper feed tray and capable of inserting and extracting the paper feed tray by operating in a roughly horizontal direction and a hook 5 rotatable according to the operation of the lever. The device body comprises a first energizing member 9 pressurizing the paper feed tray in a direction for pushing out the paper feed tray from the device body, a positioning member 6 engaged with the hook and positioning the paper feed tray relative to the device body, and a second energizing member 7 energizing the positioning member so that the positioning member can pressurize the hook. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
