PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system wherein data can be transmitted from a personal computer 1 to a personal computer 2 by simple operation. SOLUTION: In the wireless communication system wherein data are transmitted from the personal computer 1 to the personal computer 2 using wireless communication, between the personal computer 1 and the personal computer 2, movable external storage devices 3 (3a-3c) are provided. The personal computers 1 and 2 then comprise simplified communication modules 11 and 21 communicable with the external storage devices 3 (3a-3c) using wireless communication, and each of the external storage devices 3 (3a-3c) comprises a communication unit 35 communicable with the personal computer 1 and the personal computer 2 and a memory 32 for storing data transmitted from the personal computers 1 and 2.
