PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a disk type information medium which can suppress generation of defects by suppressing contraction irregularity which is liable to be generated at drying time after applying an application liquid for ink receiving layer in production of the disk type information medium by forming an ink receiving layer on a label face. SOLUTION: This is a manufacturing method of a disk type information medium comprising a printable layer including at least an ink receiving layer with thickness of 20-50μm on a substrate. The manufacturing method of the disk type information medium is characterized by including a printable layer formation process which forms the printable layer by performing a dry up process by blowing dry wind of 10-40°C on the application face at wind velocity 0.5-5 m/sec after applying the application liquid for ink receiving layers for forming the ink receiving layer on the substrate.
