PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposer capable of confirming discharge circumstances of treating material inside the disposer and reliably solving the cause when defective discharge occurs. SOLUTION: The garbage disposer is provided with a disposal tank 10 which stores garbage and the treating material therein and disposes of the garbage, a discharge means (a first drain pipe 20 and a first electromagnetic valve 22) of the treating material disposed on the lower part of the disposal tank 10 and a check port 37 having a cover body 38 which is disposed on the lower part of the disposal tank 10 and is openable and closable, wherein a confirmation port 37 having the openable and closable cover body 38 is further disposed on the upper side from the lower end of the check port 37 and on the upper side from the upper surface L2 of the garbage and the treating material in such circumstances that the discharge of discharge material by means of the discharge means is supposed to stop.
