A street light 1 includes a frame 11 that has cooling fins 111 connected to a top face thereof. The light houses LEDs 12 connected with a circuit board 121 that is connected to an underside of the frame. A transparent cover 14 is also connected to the underside of the frame, preferably by a plurality of clips 141. Two sidewalls 13 may be connected at ends of the frame and one of the sidewalls may be connected with a lamppost 132. A hinge 15 may be connected to one of the sidewalls or the cover. A solar energy panel (26, fig 7) may be located above the frame. |
