A data display control device performs control so as to search at least one data set among data sets having a first size from a database according to an inputted search key and acquire from the database a partial data set as a part having a second size smaller than the first size and corresponding to the size of a display unit, so that the partial data set is displayed on the display unit. Thus, instead of acquiring all the data sets having the first size, only the partial data set as a part having the second size corresponding to the size of the display unit is acquired from the database and displayed. Accordingly, no load is applied by performing conversion processing in accordance with the size of the display unit and data can be displayed and provided within a short period of time.
