<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bubble rolling-in phenomenon during casting of a resin coating film from occurring and correct thickness irregularities by partitioning a chamber on the periphery of a die into chamber whose atmospheric pressure can be regulated using partition walls and changing the static pressure of each of the chambers. SOLUTION: A chamber 30 including a die is divided into a die chamber 32, a curtain plenum chamber 34 and a curtain hind chamber 36. The curtain plenum chamber 34 is separated from the die chamber 32 by a partition wall 38 and the curtain hind chamber 36 is separated from the die chamber 32 by a partition wall 42 with an opening part 40. The curtain hind chamber 36 is retained lower than the die chamber 32 by a pressure regulating means 46. The curtain formed like a coating film by casting a resin coating film onto a support such as a drum or a belt from the die through a lip can have its grounding angle held high by a static pressure difference between the curtain plenum chamber 34 and the curtain hind chamber 36 and a gas suction force by the pressure regulating means 45 of the curtain plenum chamber 34 and further the inflow of a gas into the curtain hind chamber 36 the die chamber 32.</p> |
