<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container capable of reducing acetaldehyde even if a heating time is shortened to a large extent and a method for molding the container. SOLUTION: A method for molding a container capable of reducing an acetaldehyde developing amt. has a primary blow molding process for molding a preform 10 into a primary blow molded product 12 by stretch blow molding, an acetaldehyde reducing process applying acetaldehyde reducing treatment to the primary blow molded product 12 and a final blow molding process molding the primary blow molded product reduced in the content of acetaldehyde into a final container 14 by stretch blow molding. In the primary blow molding process, the primary blow molded product 12 of which the size is larger than that of the final container 14 and the stretched body part has an average wall thickness of 0.3 mm or less than that of the body part of the final container is molded. The thin-walled body part of the primary blow molded product 12 is heated to high temp. within a relatively short time. As a result, the final container 14 reduced in the developing amt. of acetaldehyde from its inner wall is molded.</p> |
