Device and method for accessing teletext pages

The device has a memory e.g. RAM (7), for storing teletext pages. A control unit (6) partitions the memory for storing the teletext pages such that the memory stores the pages of several different programs or broadcasting service. The teletext pages are assigned to the respective program. The control unit determines the frequency for receiving a program containing the pages, for partitioning the memory : An independent claim is also included for a method for accessing the teletext pages.
