The robot has a carrier (15) with three degrees of freedom in movement, for permitting positioning of a printing set (13) while permitting horizontal, vertical and depth translations of the set. A wrist (16) with two degrees of freedom in rotation permits orientation of the printing set while permitting rotations of the set along two perpendicular axes. An independent claim is also included for a printing method using a robot.
