Mounting device for a bearing on a transmission element

The device has a ball bearing (42) with balls (65) and an outer ring (60) with an outer diameter less than inner diameter of a cylindrical flange (44) of a transmission unit e.g. double clutch cover (12). The ring has a circular radial edge (54) oriented outwards. The edge is cut for providing support faces regularly distributed on the flange and at a distance from a rolling path of the balls, for centering the ring in the flange.
