Manifold 40, Fig. 4, mounting a plurality of valves, e.g. plungers in cylinders 22 operated by solenoids 20, has five ports at each valve mounting station comprising a central pressure port 30, Fig. 5, leading to a longitudinal manifold 52, cylinder ports 24, 26 leading via oppositely disposed L-shaped passages 56, 66 to ports, e.g. 60, 62 for passage 56, in the base and side of the manifold, and exhaust ports 28, 32 also connected via L-shaped passages to side ports 82, 88 between the side motor ports. The web 90 between the exhaust ports may be removed. The solenoid control wires are led via valve passage 36 to manifold chamber 42, closed by side plate 44 and open at the ends to connect with further manifolds in tandem.</p> |
