<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tear evaporation measuring instrument easily carried by a subject and allowing the subject to precisely measure the evaporation of subject's own tear while engaging in a daily life and routine work. <P>SOLUTION: This tear evaporation measuring instrument 1 whose main part is stored in a portable case 1a carried by the subject is so formed that, when natural air is supplied from pumps 6a and 6b to evaporation chambers 2Ca and 2Cb of goggles 2A and 2B, the tear evaporated from the subject's eyes E1 and E2 mixed with the natural air to generate air/damp mixture. A measuring part 13 controls the flow rate of the natural air supplied from the pump 6a and 6b to uniformize a difference between an absolute humidity based on the temperature and the humidity of the natural air detected by first sensors 10a and 10b and an absolute humidity based on the air/damp mixture detected by second sensors 11a and 11b, and measures and records the evaporation of the tear evaporated from the subject's eyes E1 and E2 based on the flow rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
