Box and method of dispatching a cable reel

The box (10) has a case (20) to surround a reel. A cable unwinding device rolled on the reel has an axial recess (36) on which an axle (34) is passed. The device has supports (40, 42) with a bearing (44) integrated to opposite and lateral inner walls (22, 24) of the case. The box takes a transport position and unwinding position in which the axle of the reel is not supported and supported by the bearings, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a method for dispatching and unwinding a cable rolled on a reel.
