The unit has a cartridge (2) and a valve retainer (1) with a pressure reducing valve unit. An inner housing is stored in the cartridge and valve retainer. The pressure reducing valve unit comprises a pressure adjustment area that is in contact with inside of a fluid container e.g. beer keg. A cartridge protection housing (3) together with the cartridge forms a valve that can be integrated into the container.
