<p>The expanding screw dowel has an expanding screw (2) with externally threaded screw shaft surrounded by an expanding sleeve (3). The largest diameter (d) of the sleeve is smaller than the boring diameter (D) of the bore head (8). The expanding sleeve can be made of plastics or metal. The sleeve has in the end area facing the bore head an internal thread in which the expanding screw engages.</p> |
