The device has a plug with phase and neutral contacts gripped with corresponding phase and neutral contacts of a socket (2). The plug and the socket have conjugated guiding and locking units that are arranged so that the units are coupled only in a single relative angular position. The socket and plug has contact locations for the contacts, where the locations are irregularly distributed on same circumference.
