The invention relates to a kitchen machine (1) provided with a stirrer vessel (5), a comminuter (9) arranged inside said stirrer vessel (5) and actuated by means of an electric-motor operated drive device (7), and/or a heater (14) which can be adjusted between a moderate, equalized temperature and cooking temperature in the lower region of the stirrer vessel (5). In an improved embodiment, an ice cream preparation vessel (20) with closed walls is provided and inserted into the stirrer vessel (5). An intermediate chamber (30) is created between stirrer vessel (5) and the ice cream preparation vessel (20). Said chamber is used to receive an icing medium (16). A scraper (23) protrudes into the ice cream preparation vessel (20). Either the scraper (23) and/or the ice preparation vessel (20) can be rotationally driven.
