The booster has a casing (12) within a moving partition secured to a moving piston with an inlet valve (50) and a re-equalizing valve (52) with offset seats borne by two tubular sleeves (136, 142). The sleeve (136) is slideably mounted in the piston with a travel which is determined by a bayonet-fitting that is interposed between the sleeve and the piston that are locked against rotation by the sleeve (142).
