The corkscrew has an asymmetric handle (4) with two semi-shells. The shells define a cage having a lower wall (34) forming lateral stops for the finger movement to limit the handle`s movement related to the base with the angular extension of the central cavity of the wall, until the handle`s inclined position relative to the axis of a drill (8). Springs (40, 42) apply a force opposing itself to the handle`s rotating movement. The handle has reduced thickness on one side of the axis of the drill.
