The device has an endless chain (40) arranged in downstream of a conveyor (2) and in edge of a conveyor (3) and tended on two wheels (41, 42). The chain carries a juxtaposition of transversal cleats that are mounted movable in translation in direction of displacement of the chain. A plate (5) drives in displacement of the cleats on a course and above the conveyor (3) so as to push objects coming from the conveyor (2).
