The present invention discloses a recombinant protein with cancer suppression action, its encoding gene and use. The recombinant protein with cancer suppression action provided by the invention is one of the following proteins: 1) the protein with the amino acid residue sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 in sequence listing; 2) the protein derived from SEQ ID NO:2 which has more than 90% homology to the amino acid residue sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 and has the same activity to SEQ ID NO:2; 3) the protein derived from SEQ ID NO:2 which has obtained from addition or deletion of 15 or no more tha 15 amino acid residues in N-terminal of the amino acid residue sequence of SEQ ID NO:2; 4) the protein derived from SEQ ID NO:2 which has obtained from addition or deletion of 15 or no more than 15 amino acid residues in C-terminal of the amino acid residue sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 and has the same activity to SEQ ID NO:2; 5) the protein derived from SEQ ID NO:2 which has replacement, deletion or addition of one or several amino acid residues in the amino acid residue sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 and has the same activity to SEQ ID NO:2. The medicines with above recombinant proteins as active components have obviously selectively suppressive action to tumor cells, not induce apoptosis of normal tissue cells, and have important applicable value.
