<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform successful cleaning to conglobated toner with reduced particle diameter. <P>SOLUTION: The cleaning device is constituted so that a belt-like toner supporter contacts a removal blade at a state where the surface of the belt-like toner supporter is approximately horizontal by providing the belt-like toner supporter (1'), and by further providing: the removal blade (5) which removes the transfer residual toner from the surface of an image carrier by contacting the belt-like toner supporter on the surface of the image carrier or approximating it to the surface of the image carrier at an approximately contact state and scratches the toner adhered to the belt-like toner supporter; a collection box (6) for collecting and rejecting the scratched toner; and an opposite roller (4) on the inner perimeter side of the belt-like toner supporter opposite to the removal blade. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
