PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit increase of throughput (the quantity of a computation) without changing a color region in a periphery on the outside of a color-correction object region and without a protrusion from the region of a device of the region after a movement and a clipping by conducting a partial color correction by using a nonlinear type conversion having a continuity. SOLUTION: The center (correction-object central coordinates) of the specified color region is moved at the center (movement central coordinates) of the ideal color region and a color is corrected and processed on the basis of the input values (an L signal, a *a signal and a *b signal) of an input image signal, a radius (r) specifying a partial correction-object region and the correction-object central coordinates (Lc, *ac and *bc) and the movement central coordinates (Lm, *am and *bm) of the ideal color region after a correction. A correction processing section 1 corrects and processes the color so as to reduce a movement displaying any movement of the input values with larger distances among the input values and the correction-object central coordinates in the spherical correction-object region of the radius (r) in the case.
