PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outlet capable of securing an inserting/disconnecting force and holding a force equivalent to a conventional blade-receiving spring while the distance between the front side of a device body and a housing of a plug in a state of the tip of a flat plug blade inserted to reach a position to touch the blade-receiving spring is made shorter than that of a conventional outlet. SOLUTION: Each of blade-receiving springs 30 comprises: a pair of spring pieces 31, 31 opposed to each other and made up of plate springs sandwiching the flat plug blade 51 of the plug B; and a frame 32 wherein respective rear ends of a pair of frame pieces 32a, 32a placed along the longitudinal direction of the device body 1 (that is, the insertion/disconnection direction of the flat plug blade 51) are coupled to each other via a coupling piece 32b. The front end of each of the pair of spring pieces 31, 31 is coupled to the frame 32. In each of the blade-receiving springs 30, the frame 32 as a whole is formed in a shape of U in which the frame pieces 32a, 32a serve as both legs, and the pair of spring pieces 31, 31 are continuously and integrally coupled in such a manner as to be folded back from respective front ends of the pair of frame pieces 32a, 32a toward the rear.
