PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage box for a paper sheet which can be carried easily and in which a small paper sheet such as a receipt received at purchasing an article or the like can be stored efficiently and be kept certainly and which can be handled conveniently. SOLUTION: The storage box for a paper sheet 1 is formed to a flat rectangular parallelepiped of a sheet material, wherein the side part piece forming a longitudinal side face and a lid piece 7 connected to the side part piece can be opened and closed freely and a part of the opening side of an inner lid 5, on which the lid piece 7 is overlapped to close, is cut so that the paper sheet can be taken out and put in easily and a holding piece 10 to hold the paper sheet stored is provide on the inside of the inner lid 5 and the lid piece 7 can be secured to the inner lid 5 with a securing means.
