PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat device including a seat back, seat cushion, and a headrest capable of folding them up comparatively small and with easiness in operation and embodying their storage space relatively small so as to establish suppression of the space used. SOLUTION: The seat device is configured so that the seat back 6 is pushed down ahead and folded up in such a way as overlapping on the seat cushion 5 and they are stored in a storage recess 40 provided at the floor 10 of a vehicle, wherein storage is made in such a condition that the headrest 7 attached to the seat back 6 through a down facing extending piece 16 and a vertically positioned pivoting plate 14 is pinched in a gap (a) between the backing surface fd of the seat back 6 and the seating surface fc of the seat cushion when the seat back 6 is to be folded up.
