PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door check device for a vehicle, fixing a bracket pivoting a check arm to the car body side without requiring an opening of large dimensions in an inner panel in spite of two-point fastening. SOLUTION: The check arm 1 and the bracket 2 for pivoting one end of the check arm 1 on a pillar 4 on the car body side are separately constructed, the bracket 2 having an oval support shaft 3 is fixed to the pillar 4 on the car body side with the support shaft 3 in the center using upper and lower bolts 5a, 5b by two-point fastening.
