PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-rolling water tank device, obtaining favorable anti-rolling effect even in a ship having a long rolling period such as a large ship like a container ship having a double hull structure. SOLUTION: This anti-rolling water tank device includes: a pair of right and left wing tanks 1a, 1b into which a liquid W is thrown; a plurality of connecting water pipes 2 communicating the lower parts of the right and left wing tanks 1a, 1b; a damper 4 provided in the connecting water pipe 2 to vary the natural period of the anti-rolling water tank device by opening and closing thereof; an air duct 3 communicating the upper parts of the right and left wing tanks 1a, 1b; and a valve 6 provided in the air duct 3 to switch between operation and stopping of the anti-rolling water tank device by opening and closing thereof.
