PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub unit device, preventing any increase in the axial dimension of a hub unit toward the center of a vehicle to increase the weight, exerting no influence upon dimensional distribution between a universal joint and a housing in designing a vehicle, and not increasing the cost. SOLUTION: This hub unit device includes: a hub integrally provided with a first outer peripheral track on the outer end side of the vehicle and fixing an inner ring element to a shaft body having the trailing end on the center side of the vehicle by caulking the training end part; and a counterpart member to which the hub is fitted, wherein the end face on the center side of the vehicle of the inner ring element fixed by caulking the trailing end part is abutted on the counterpart member.
