PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threshing machine having an upper structure member 28 provided with a threshing cylinder and placed in a manner vertically tiltable between a lifted open state and a lowered close state, fixable to the lowered close state with a hook 35 and enabling the lifting and lowering operation of the upper structure member 28 with an operation lever 37 of the hook 35. SOLUTION: The threshing machine is provided with a hook holding mechanism 50 to keep a hook 35 in a released posture with a tiltable engaging member 51 cooperating with an operation lever 37 by a cooperation mechanism 60 and a tiltable stopper 54 supported by an upper structure member frame 40. The engaging member 51 is locked or released by an operation member 71 through an operation mechanism 70. When the hook 35 is released and the upper structure member 28 is lifted beyond a preset height, the hook holding mechanism 50 is switched to an action state by the operation mechanism 70. When the upper structure member 28 is lowered below the preset height, the hook holding mechanism 50 is switched to a released state by the operation mechanism 70. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
