A digital camera by which a photograph image not affected by a camera-shake can be obtained by a small and low-cost configuration, without missing a right moment to release a shutter. In the digital camera, before a camera-shake is generated at a moment when a shutter key is depressed, n-number of images, which are outputted from an image pickup device of an image pickup section (110) and are not affected by the camera-shake, are previously stored in a storage section (130). Then, when the camera-shake is generated at the moment when the shutter key is depressed, the photograph image not affected by the camera-shake prior to the camera-shake generation is selected and stored in the storage section (130). Thus, the photograph image not affected by the camera-shake is obtained without missing the right moment to release the shutter.
