<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a new information input/output device which permits output to mediums other than paper in a information input/output device mainly based on paper. <P>SOLUTION: An image read (scanned) by a reading portion 3 is formed by an image forming portion 1, and the formed image is fixed to a paper medium fed from a paper feeding portion 2. When the image is output to the paper medium, the image information is recorded on an unused storage medium transferred from a medium stocking portion 86 and installed by an optical disk drive unit 85.
