<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overlapping feeding of paper not largely depending on a separating member arranged on a post stage not by leading the conveyed paper in a paper feed cassette to a conveying process by simple and uniform conveying but by returning it to uniform conveying after slightly oblique conveying is performed by a pickup roller. <P>SOLUTION: A contact starting timing of the respective pickup rollers 51a, 51b to the paper is made different by deviating rotation phase of the plurality of pickup rollers 51a, 51b. Thereby, by contacting one pickup roller 51a with the paper prior to the other pickup roller 51b, the paper part between a pickup roller contact position of the paper and a cassette claw provided on a paper feed cassette is upwardly curved and deflected, an air layer is formed between the upper and lower paper sheets and the upper and lower paper sheets are separated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
