<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To employ and deploy in an accurate and planned manner the personnel needed to manufacture a product on a line in a factory. <P>SOLUTION: A production line management system includes a storage means for dividing operations on the production line for personnel management into process units and storing, for each process, process information indicating the total number of personnel and the number of experts needed on a designated date, identification information for identifying each person to be allocated, quality information indicating whether each person is experienced or inexperienced about which process, and working day information indicating days on which each person can work; and an allocation means for referring to the quality information of all the personnel and allocating experts to each process so that the required number of experts indicated by each process's information is met for each process, and then allocating the remaining personnel yet to be allocated, so that the total number of personnel required for work in each process is met. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
