<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a typing game device for which a game property is improved by providing an initialization means for initializing a correct/error decided result relating to a character string inputted by an input means from a judged result storage means. <P>SOLUTION: A main game image 21 for which a character string relevant to the lyrics of a music piece is displayed is displayed on a first liquid crystal display 3 (S22, S24), the points of a player are added (S62) on the basis of the result of the correct/error decision (S29, S31) of characters typed by the player, and in the case that the points acquired by the player reach prescribed points, an item is made usable on the basis of a prescribed operation by the player (S66).
