PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform prevention against illegal access to a document and user-friendly operation in a document management system comprising a document managing device connected to a multi function peripheral through a network. SOLUTION: In the document management system comprising a document input/output device and the document managing device connected to the document input/output device through the network, the document managing device includes a storage means and a 1st transmitting and receiving means and the document input/output device includes a photographing means of photographing a photograph, an input means, and an output means, and a 2nd transmitting and receiving means and a console panel. When an operator gives an instruction to register a document to the document managing device from the document input/output device, the photographing means generates a photographed image by photographing the periphery of the console panel, generates document data, and transmits the document data and photographed image to the document managing device, which receives the document data and photographed image, and then combines and stores them by the storage means.
