PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic imaging apparatus which can normally, reliably and excellently perform a dust elimination operation without imposing much burden on a battery to be mounted as the power source of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a light transmittable dust-proofing filter 21 on the light receiving part of an imaging element 27; and a vibrating means for vibrating the dust-proofing filter 21.
