PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uncomplicated piping structure sufficiently securing rigidity, advantageous to vibration, and smooth in flow of intake air, in an intake passage of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: An intercooler installing base 12 for arranging an intercooler 9 in an upper part and arranging the intake passage inside, is installed on an upper surface and a side surface of a gear case 10. The intake passage is arranged in the gear case 10 for communicating the upper surface and the side surface of the gear case 10 with an intake passage 55 of a cylinder block 2, and the supply air from the intercooler 9 is guided to the intake passage 55 of the cylinder block 2.
