PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter housing device eliminating leakage of air with improved adhesion between a filter unit and a housing frame and allowing easy mounting and dismounting of the filter unit on the housing frame. SOLUTION: The device has the housing frame 8 which has a reinforcement 3 through principal elastic materials 2 arranged on both side surfaces perpendicular to the folding direction of a dust-collecting filter 1 and houses the filter unit 7 in a removable way, and the reinforcement 3 is joined with the surface of the principal elastic material 2 other than the area in the thickness direction. The housing frame 8 is provided with a housing section 11 for the filter unit 7 and a back holding section 9 and a front holding section 10 respectively in the back and in the front of the housing section 11, leading to improvement of the adhesion between the filter unit 7 and the housing frame 8, elimination of leakage of air and ease of mounting and dismounting of the filter unit 7 on the housing frame 8.
